Welcome to Trinity!

Picture
Your first visit…
Trinity is located on the Main Street in Huntsville, a quaint town in Muskoka’s cottage country. You will be drawn to the front doors of the church at the corner and this is indeed a welcoming entrance. There is also a side entrance where many come into the church and a drop off area for those wishing to be closer to the door. Coming in this way you will find fewer stairs, Trinity Hall, the washrooms close by, the offices of the church and the stairs leading down to the Sunday Kids’ Program area. There is a ramped sidewalk at this entrance, a fully accessible washroom on this level and handicap-accessible lifts inside and on into the Sanctuary. Whichever way you chose, you will find warmth and we hope, feel welcome.

At both entrances to the Sanctuary, Greeters, who are members of our congregation, will be present to say hello and give you the church Sunday Bulletin. It will guide you through our service and also tell you what is going on in the church throughout the week and in the immediate future. You will see that we are an active church and an integral part of community life in this area.

Our service is traditional most Sundays and dress is casual. There will be a buzz of conversation and as the organ begins or the piano keys are heard, the choir will enter with our Minister and the atmosphere will quiet in readiness for worship.

The service will offer prayers, Bible readings, songs of praise and hymns. Children are welcome to stay with their family or to head downstairs for a Sunday Kids’ Program at this time.  An offering is taken up by the ushers at which time you may wish to contribute as the plate is passed or fill in a Visitor’s Envelope found in the pews to put on the offering plate and a tax receipt will be sent to you for your donation. A message from our worship leader will give you food for thought and discussion.

At the end of the service, everyone is invited to Trinity Hall for coffee and conversation. This hall is located through the doors at the front of the Sanctuary.

If you are visiting, we hope that you find the spiritual nourishment that you seek. If you are looking for a church home, we invite you to come back. Don’t forget to sign our guest book located in the Narthex at the back of the church Sanctuary.

Whatever your reasons for visiting, we are glad you came.
