'Absent Friends', a play by Alan Ayckbourn, was produced and directed by our own John and Marion McTavish. Several of the cast members were from Trinity's congregation with debut performances!
The program notes: Colin's friends had arranged a tea party to comfort him over the death of his fiancée. Even though they had never met Carol, her death clearly rattled them. Colin himself rattles them as he waxes lovingly over the memories of his departed fiancée.
The mix of humor and sadness makes for great entertainment.
