 This week I noticed one of my favourite wildflowers shooting up along the side of the road- daisy's! They are glorious in their simple white and yellow splendour! They instantly put a smile on my heart. Something else put a smile on my heart today and I want to share it with you now. It's from Ralph Waldo Emerson:
" The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well." As we stand on the threshold of a new season- yes, summer officially arrives next week- yipppee! let's reflect upon how we are making a difference in our families, with our friends, and in our wider communities. In the words of a country song I recently heard " in a world full of hate... be a light". Keep shining!
